Who We Are

Arsalan is a business lawyer with a strong corporate/commercial background and a special focus on private M&A and structuring early stage angel and seed investments.

His practice is built for startups, small businesses,  and midsize companies. He guides founders through corporate structure, shareholders agreements, contracts, investment vehicles, and the purchase and sale of private businesses. Arsalan "grew up" on Bay Street and is a lifelong entrepreneur so he knows how to help you grow your business without compromising your vision.

Karol Pawlina, J.D.*

Karol received his law degree from Osgoode Hall Law School, and was called to the Ontario Bar in 2016. He is also a Registered Trade-mark Agent in Canada. Since being called to the Bar, Karol provides Corporate and Intellectual Property solutions to small and medium-sized enterprises.

He has gained valuable experience assisting with a variety of Intellectual Property matters, including Intellectual Property litigation, Trademark prosecution, and Patent prosecution at a Boutique Intellectual Property Law firm in Toronto.

Prior to attending law school, Karol completed an Honours Bachelor of Engineering at Ryerson University, where he graduated with distinction. Karol is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys fishing, downhill skiing, and cross country skiing. He is also fluent in Polish.

Taus graduated from the University of Victoria, School of Law, in beautiful British Columbia before returning home to Toronto to practice as a plaintiff-side civil litigator at a boutique litigation firm. There he dealt with high-value files representing clients at the Ontario Superior Court of Justice  and helped them manage the most stressful aspects of litigation.  

Taus has also conducted numerous motions, examinations for discovery and settlement negotiations, obtaining the best outcomes for his clients. Currently, as counsel with Movement Law, Taus advises clients on various dispute resolution matters. In addition, Taus also help clients navigate through personal and business immigration matters.  

Prior to attending law school, Taus completed an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Toronto, St. George campus. He also speaks Urdu, Hindi and Punjabi.
